Covid 19 was both defining and challenging event that made us all wary of what was to come. The pandemic took almost more than a year of our lives which inspired him to make this song. He just questions himself self how he managed to survive the year of pandemic 2020 and what he lost through this song. You can watch this song here.

The lost year 2020 in a sense that lots of people lost their lives, lost their job, income, family, and education. Transport, flight, education, shopping, work everything stopped. It was like time had stopped. We lost a year that could be very productive and progressive for us and now it’s gonna take one more year to get the job done that we could have done in that year.

Lots of people went through a mental breakdown and lots of people were in confusing what to do next. This frustration is clearly seen in his line ” Kasari hidne, kun bato rojne, andol ma aaile ma kudirachu”. He said via this song that he chose this way of music to take out this frustration.

Not just only for him, The lost year 2020 was really a devastating year for the whole world. The economy of every country was crashing as the border was closed for more than a year. It was like the world was freezing with time.
